Limni Express has significantly updated the 2026 ferry schedule for the route between Çanakkale Kepez and Lemnos (Limnos / Myrina). According to the new timetable, crossings will operate three days a week in each direction from July 15 to September 20, 2026. The most crucial change is that departure and return days are now different—meaning same-day return day trips are no longer possible.
What are the new sailing days and times?
| Direction | Sailing Days | Departure | Arrival | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Çanakkale Kepez → Lemnos (Myrina) | Monday, Thursday, Saturday | 09:30 | 12:00 | 2 hr 30 min |
| Lemnos (Myrina) → Çanakkale Kepez | Wednesday, Friday, Sunday | 17:00 | 19:30 | 2 hr 30 min |
This route is for foot passengers only; vehicles or cars are not permitted. You can check current times and availability on our Çanakkale-Lemnos ferry schedules and Lemnos-Çanakkale return ferries pages.
What is the difference from the previous schedule?
In the previous program, crossings operated only on Thursdays and Sundays in both directions. With the new arrangement, the frequency has increased from two days a week to three days in each direction, and the outbound days (Monday, Thursday, Saturday) have been separated from the return days (Wednesday, Friday, Sunday). The season has also been updated from the June 14 – December 31 period to July 15 – September 20, 2026, based on the operator's latest published calendar.
Is a day trip to Lemnos possible?
No. Since the outbound and return days are different, a same-day round trip is not possible; you must stay at least one night in Lemnos. The shortest itineraries are 1-night stays, such as Thursday departure – Friday return or Saturday departure – Sunday return. To comfortably explore the island, a Thursday departure – Sunday return (3 nights) is ideal. For a detailed itinerary, you can check out our 3-day Lemnos vacation plan article.
