As the summer season peaks, GESTAŞ Deniz Ulaşım has announced updates to its Dardanelles ferry schedules, effective June 19, 2026. These changes primarily affect the Kabatepe–Gökçeada island route and the Çanakkale–Kilitbahir strait route. You can find the updated departure times for both routes below.
Kabatepe – Gökçeada Route: Separate Weekday and Weekend Schedules
Starting June 19, 2026, the Gökçeada route will operate on two distinct schedules for weekdays and weekends. To accommodate increased demand, the number of weekend departures (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) has been increased from 6 to 8 sailings per day. The departure times are identical in both directions (from Kabatepe and from Gökçeada).

Additional 06:00 Departure on the Çanakkale – Kilitbahir Route
Connecting the two shores of the strait, the Çanakkale – Kilitbahir route has introduced an additional morning departure at 06:00 in both directions, effective June 19, 2026. This early sailing provides significant convenience for passengers needing to cross the strait at the crack of dawn for work, school, or onward travel.
