The institution, which has been providing uninterrupted service in the Istanbul Strait for approximately 175 years, aims to maintain transport comfort during this new period, which will last until June 27, 2027. During the winter schedule, an average of 826 daily services will be organized, and passengers' transportation needs will continue to be met.
Night Services and Bosphorus Tours During the Winter Period
Şehir Hatları has decided to continue night services throughout the winter schedule. Night transportation is particularly important on busy routes and tourist itineraries. In this context:
- Night services will continue uninterrupted every day on the Bostancı-Princes' Islands Ring line. This line offers an important alternative for those traveling from Bostancı Pier to the Princes' Islands.
- On the Kadıköy-Karaköy-Beşiktaş line, services connecting Friday night to Saturday and Saturday night to Sunday will be active throughout the winter period. This will provide easy transportation for Istanbulites enjoying nights out on weekends.
Bosphorus Tours, organized for those wishing to discover Istanbul's unique beauties from the sea, will also continue to operate during the winter months. Both the Long Bosphorus Tour and the Short Bosphorus Tour will be organized once a day, offering pleasant moments to visitors and Istanbulites alike.
Sea Taxi Services Continue Uninterrupted
In addition to scheduled services, Sea Taxi services, offering personalized and flexible transportation, will also be available to Istanbulites 24/7 throughout the winter period. This service provides a practical solution, especially for emergencies or special transportation needs.
