Night ferries begin in Istanbul: Summer schedule announced
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) subsidiary Şehir Hatları is switching to its summer schedule between June 29 and September 6, 2026. Under the new timetable, an average of 839 daily trips will be made, and night services will continue on the Bostancı-Princes' Islands (Adalar) and Kadıköy-Karaköy-Beşiktaş routes.

The winter schedule for Şehir Hatları is coming to an end. The new summer timetable will be in effect from June 29 to September 6, 2026.
AN AVERAGE OF 839 DAILY TRIPS
Operating across 32 routes in total, Şehir Hatları will organize an average of 839 daily trips throughout the summer schedule.
Carrying approximately 40 million passengers annually, Şehir Hatları will continue to serve with tourist routes and Princes' Islands trips alongside its regular scheduled services during the summer period.
NIGHT SERVICES TO CONTINUE
Night services will also continue during the summer. The Bostancı-Princes' Islands ring route will feature daily night trips.
On the Kadıköy-Karaköy-Beşiktaş route, night trips connecting Friday to Saturday and Saturday to Sunday will run throughout the summer.
FREQUENT SERVICES ON PRINCES' ISLANDS ROUTES
The Princes' Islands routes will operate intensively during the summer season.
The Tuzla-Pendik-Princes' Islands route, which opened two years ago, along with the Maltepe-Princes' Islands, Kabataş-Princes' Islands, Princes' Islands-Beşiktaş, Bostancı-Princes' Islands ring route, and Büyükada-Sedef Island routes, will continue their operations this year.
MOONLIGHT TOURS BEGIN
The Moonlight Tours (Mehtap Turları), one of Şehir Hatları's summer classics, will also resume. Held every Saturday, these tours will feature live performances by ferry musicians accompanying the passengers.
