(ISTANBUL) - Providing maritime transport services in Istanbul for 175 years, IBB Şehir Hatları is switching to its summer schedule as of June 29, 2026. Operating across a total of 32 routes and carrying approximately 40 million passengers annually, Şehir Hatları will continue to offer uninterrupted transportation to its passengers throughout the summer schedule. During the summer period, which will run until September 6, 2026, an average of 839 trips will be carried out daily.
NIGHT TRIPS TO CONTINUE THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER
Night trips will also continue during the summer period. Daily night trips will remain operational on the Bostancı-Adalar ring route. On the Kadıköy-Karaköy-Beşiktaş route, the night trips scheduled for Friday and Saturday nights will continue throughout the summer.
ADALAR ROUTE TO OPERATE INTENSIVELY
The Adalar route will operate intensively during the 2026 summer season. The Tuzla-Pendik-Adalar route, which opened two years ago, along with the Maltepe-Adalar, Kabataş-Adalar, Adalar-Beşiktaş, Bostancı-Adalar ring route, and the Büyükada-Sedef Adası route, will remain in service this year, just as they were last year.
THE ESSENTIAL SUMMER NIGHT MOONLIGHT TOURS ARE ALSO STARTING
Becoming a summer classic for Şehir Hatları and organized every Saturday, the Moonlight Tours will bring Istanbulites together with the beauties of the Bosphorus under the moonlight throughout the summer. Ferry musicians will also add color to the Moonlight Tours with their live performances. This year, the moonlight excursions will once again take place on the Bostancı-Kadıköy-Eminönü-Üsküdar-Beşiktaş-Rumeli Kavağı-Anadolu Kavağı route.
BOSPHORUS TOURS TO OPERATE DAILY
Operating year-round and offering the opportunity to discover Istanbul's historical and natural beauties aboard Şehir Hatları ferries, the Bosphorus Tours will also be in service during the summer period. The Long Bosphorus Tour and the Short Bosphorus Tour will each be held once a day. The Short Bosphorus Tour will operate twice a day on public holidays and national festivals.
