IMPORTANT RULES TO KNOW FOR PRINCES' ISLANDS TRANSPORTATION

In addition to the new price tariff, the Princes' Islands transportation rules set by the İBB have also been announced. Here are the details passengers need to pay attention to:

1. Subscription Limits:

Subscription (Abonman) cards will continue to be valid on these voyages. However, while subscription limits are deducted as 1 boarding for inner-city routes and 2 for the Karaköy-Bostancı route, they will be deducted as 4 boardings for the Princes' Islands routes.

2. Night Tariff Application:

For night voyages operating between 00:30 and 05:30, a double (2x) tariff of the current fares mentioned above will be applied. Transfer discounts will not be valid on night voyages.

3. Transfer Discount Details:

A 50% discount is applied to personalized Istanbulkart holders for transfers from all public transportation vehicles within Istanbul to Şehir Hatları ferries. The transfer period is set at 120 minutes. However, this general 50% transfer discount will not apply to the Princes' Islands routes (the specific transfer table outlined above for the Islands remains valid).

4. No Refund System:

There is no fare refund system on the Princes' Islands routes, as well as the Üsküdar-Eminönü, Kadıköy-Karaköy-Eminönü, Kadıköy-Beşiktaş, and Üsküdar-Aşiyan routes.

5. "Adakart" Convenience for Workers on the Islands:

Citizens who document that they work within the borders of the Princes' Islands district with an official letter and SGK (Social Security Institution) registration will be evaluated under UKOME decision No. 2016/8-20 and will be able to benefit from discounts just like island residents. Additionally, the subscription usage of Island students and Island teachers, as well as students and teachers entitled to receive an Adakart, will be kept at the same standard as Adakart usage limits.
