Famagusta Port, located in the center of the historic port city of Famagusta on the east coast of the TRNC, offers RoRo cargo and limited passenger services.
Located in the heart of the historic port city of Famagusta on the east coast of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Famagusta Port has been a strategic maritime trade hub since antiquity. Today, it primarily provides RoRo cargo connections to the Port of Mersin in Turkey, offering limited passenger capacity.
Famagusta Port is located near Mesan Apt. in the city center. It is 60 km from Nicosia and 40 km from Ercan Airport. Minibus (dolmuş) services operate from the front of the port to Nicosia, Kyrenia, and Larnaca.
Regular sailings are operated 3 days a week from Famagusta Port to Mersin Port using Akgünler Denizcilik's Marin RoRo cargo ship. Passenger capacity is limited, and priority is given to truck drivers. For standard passenger ferry services, Kyrenia Port is recommended.
