Karamürsel Pier is located on the coast of Izmit Gulf in Karamürsel / Kocaeli. The pier is one of the departure points for the Büyükada ferry services organized by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality during the summer months. The Gulf ferry takes passengers from this pier and reaches the Princes' Islands directly via the Marmara Sea.

Sailings

Round-trip services to Büyükada are available every Sunday between June 22 and September 21, 2026. Departure from Karamürsel Pier is at 10:00, with arrival at Büyükada around 12:15; on the return journey, the ferry departs from the island at 17:30 and returns to this pier around 19:45. A round-trip tour ticket is 350 TL for adults, 225 TL for students, and reservations are mandatory (kdu.kocaeli.bel.tr).

Location

The pier is located on the Karamürsel coast. It can be reached by Kocaeli municipal buses and private vehicles; parking areas around the pier can be used for Sunday services. The line carries only passengers; no vehicles are allowed.
