Bursa Sea Buses (BUDO) announced today the cancellation of 4 more sailings on its Mudanya - Kabataş and Kabataş - Mudanya lines, due to adverse weather conditions affecting the Sea of Marmara. These cancellations follow similar disruptions yesterday and continue to impact passengers' travel plans.
Adverse Weather Conditions Disrupt Sea Transportation
Unfavorable weather conditions prevailing across the Sea of Marmara are negatively affecting the regular operation of sea bus services. BUDO is compelled to cancel sailings in such situations to ensure passenger safety. Yesterday, for the same reason, the 16:00 and 19:00 sailings on the Mudanya - Kabataş line, and the 16:30 and 19:30 sailings on the Kabataş - Mudanya line, were also canceled.
Today's Canceled BUDO Sailings
According to BUDO's official announcement, the sailings and times canceled today due to adverse weather conditions are as follows:
- 16.45 Bursa (Mudanya) - Istanbul (Kabataş)
- 17.00 Istanbul (Kabataş) - Bursa (Mudanya)
- 19.15 Bursa (Mudanya) - Istanbul (Kabataş)
- 19.30 Istanbul (Kabataş) - Bursa (Mudanya)
Important Warnings and Alternatives for Passengers
Such disruptions in sea transportation create planning difficulties, especially for passengers traveling between Bursa and Istanbul. BUDO officials strongly advise all passengers to check the current sailing status on BUDO's official website and other announcement channels before their journeys. This can help prevent potential inconveniences.
