Commercial ferry services between Çanakkale and the Greek island of Lemnos (Limnos) officially launched today, July 15, 2026. Limni Express's inaugural commercial voyage departed from Çanakkale Kepez Port with 88 passengers. To promote the route, a "buy 1 get 1 free" ticket campaign valid until the end of July also went into effect today.
Schedule: Three round trips per week
Services on the new route operate three days a week in both directions. Departures from Çanakkale to Lemnos are on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 10:00; return trips from Lemnos to Çanakkale take place on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 16:00. The journey takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes and is operated by a passenger-only fast catamaran. When does the "buy 1 get 1 free" campaign end?
To introduce the new route, the line operator announced a "buy 1 get 1 free" ticket campaign valid until the end of July. The application terms of the campaign (such as ticket type, round-trip requirement, and quota limits) become clear during booking; passengers wishing to act early are advised to confirm the current conditions via Limni Express.
Who operates the route?
Emin Çakmak, Main Operator of Limni Express and Co-Founder and General Manager of Hello Turizm AŞ, announced that no single travel agency in Turkey has been granted exclusive representation, and equal sales and cooperation opportunities are offered to all TÜRSAB-member agencies. According to the announcement, the main operator of the line is the TÜRSAB-member Hello Turizm Seyahat Acentası AŞ.
