(ISTANBUL) – Şehir Hatları, a subsidiary of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB), is ending its winter schedule and transitioning to the summer schedule as of June 29, 2026. Carrying approximately 40 million passengers annually across 32 routes, Şehir Hatları will operate an average of 839 daily trips during the new season, which will run until September 6, 2026.
Providing maritime transport services in Istanbul for 175 years, Şehir Hatları has updated its departure times and tour programs to meet the increased passenger demand during the summer months and ensure uninterrupted transportation. With the new schedule, night services, Princes' Islands routes, Bosphorus tours, and Moonlight Cruises will be at the service of Istanbulites throughout the summer.
Night Services to Continue Throughout the Summer
To provide ease of transportation during the summer months, night services will continue uninterrupted. While night trips will be operated every day on the Bostancı-Princes' Islands ring route, services on the Kadıköy-Karaköy-Beşiktaş route will run until morning on weekend nights connecting Friday to Saturday and Saturday to Sunday.
Extensive Transport Network to the Princes' Islands
The Princes' Islands route, which attracts great interest especially during the summer months, will operate intensively this season as well. Locals and visitors will be able to easily reach the Princes' Islands via the Tuzla-Pendik-Princes' Islands, Maltepe-Princes' Islands, Kabataş-Princes' Islands, Princes' Islands-Beşiktaş, Bostancı-Princes' Islands ring route, and Büyükada-Sedef Island routes.
A Summer Night Classic: Moonlight Cruises
