GESTAŞ Deniz Ulaşım has published important updates regarding ferry services on the Çanakkale Strait and Island routes, effective 07.09.2026 Monday. According to this announcement, extra sailings will be scheduled on the Kabatepe - Gökçeada route on 07.09.2026 Monday and 08.09.2026 Tuesday. Furthermore, schedule changes will be implemented on the Çanakkale - Eceabat route, as well as the Geyikli - Bozcaada and Kabatepe - Gökçeada routes, effective 14.09.2026. 07.09.2026 Monday Strait Routes Service Status

As of 07 September 2026 Monday, ferry services in the Çanakkale Strait continue as follows:

• Services on the Çanakkale - Eceabat route are operating according to the current schedule.
• Services on the Çanakkale - Kilitbahir route are operating according to the current schedule.
• Services on the Lapseki - Gelibolu route operate continuously without a fixed schedule. Passengers traveling on this route are advised to contact GESTAŞ officials to learn the current status.

Extra Sailings on the Kabatepe - Gökçeada Route

For passengers traveling on the Island routes, extra sailings will be scheduled on the Kabatepe - Gökçeada route:

  • From Kabatepe: At 05:00
  • From Gökçeada: At 05:00
• 08.09.2026 Tuesday:
  • From Kabatepe: At 05:00
  • From Gökçeada: At 05:00

Effective 14 September 2026 Monday, updates will be made to the ferry schedules on some routes:

• Çanakkale - Eceabat Route: The 15:00 and 17:00 services from Eceabat have been changed to 15:05 and 17:05, respectively.
• Geyikli - Bozcaada Route: There is a schedule change on this route.
• Kabatepe - Gökçeada Route: There is also a schedule change on this route.
