Şehir HatlarıThe traditional Mehtap Gezisi (Moonlight Cruise) operated by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality's Şehir Hatları has resumed for the 2026 summer season. Running exclusively on Saturday evenings, this special Bosphorus tour takes passengers along both shores of Istanbul under the moonlight, with a route that lasts from sunset until midnight.
The cruise departs from Bostancı at 17:30, stopping at the Kadıköy, Eminönü, Üsküdar, and Beşiktaş piers before reaching Anadolu Kavağı in the northern Bosphorus. After a break, the ferry returns along the same route, concluding the night in Bostancı at 01:00.

Which days and from where does the Moonlight Cruise depart?
The Moonlight Cruise operates exclusively on Saturdays. The Kadıköy departure takes place from the Kadıköy (Old) Pier. You can board the tour from the Bostancı, Kadıköy, Eminönü, Üsküdar, and Beşiktaş piers.
