One of Turkey's busiest inland water routes, the Elazığ - Pertek ferry route, is now on feribotseferleri.com.tr. Connecting the two shores of the Keban Dam Lake, this route reduces the approximately 150-kilometer road detour between Elazığ and Tunceli to a mere 10-15 minute lake crossing.

- From Pertek pier: first ferry at 06:00, departing every 30 minutes throughout the day

The route is operated alternately by the Pertek Belediyesi feribotu and the privately owned Tunceliler and Pertek-1 ferries (info line: 0534 968 22 20).

Scenic Crossing by Pertek Castle
The ferry passes by Pertek Castle, an Urartian fortress that became an island in the middle of the dam lake. Until the Pertek Bridge, currently under construction by the General Directorate of Highways, is completed, the ferry will remain the only practical crossing between the two shores.
