Organized in collaboration with İZKÜLTÜR, İZDENİZ, and Grand Plaza, the Marina Concerts will offer locals unforgettable summer evenings by the sea with Latin music on July 14, jazz on July 24, 80s-90s hits on July 31, and rebetiko on August 7. Izmir Marina is getting ready to bring music and dance to summer evenings against the backdrop of the Gulf. Held at Nefes+ on the Marina breakwater, in partnership with Izmir Metropolitan Municipality companies İZKÜLTÜR, İZDENİZ, and Grand Plaza, the Marina Concerts feature a rich program ranging from Latin rhythms and jazz to 80s-90s nostalgia and rebetiko melodies, promising unforgettable seaside evenings. Easily accessible by public transport, Izmir Marina will become one of the summer's new gathering spots for those looking to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Gulf without leaving the city center. What's on the program? On Tuesday, July 14, 2026, the Marina will host a Latin night. Bringing the warm and vibrant rhythms of Latin music to the stage, Duo Cuba & Margarita will kick off the Marina Nights with an energetic repertoire that invites you to dance, featuring salsa and rumba. On Friday, July 24, 2026, the elegant and free-spirited sounds of jazz will meet the audience at Izmir Marina with the vocals of Verda Akyıldız. On Friday, July 31, 2026, an 80s and 90s night will take place at the Marina. The unforgettable songs of the 80s and 90s will come back to life at Izmir Marina through a selection from DJ Ergün Akyol’s original vinyl collection. Blending nostalgia, dance, and entertainment, the night will take attendees on a delightful musical journey through beloved melodies of the past on a summer evening. Friday, August 7, 2026, will be a rebetiko night. Patika Rebetika will bring melodies that have left their mark on both sides of the Aegean to the stage. Shaped by traditional sounds, warm melodies, and songs with powerful narratives, the night will create a nostalgic and emotional atmosphere that blends with the sea at Izmir Marina.
