Planning a total of 49 round-trip voyages between September and November, İDO offers a safe and comfortable sea travel alternative for passengers traveling between Turkey and Northern Cyprus during the late tourism season and the start of the academic year.
İDO Taşucu-Kyrenia Route Schedule and Details
The schedule for the newly opened Taşucu-Kyrenia route has been announced. Passengers should take these details into consideration when planning their trips.
Departures from Taşucu to Kyrenia
- Between October 1-10: Daily departures at 15:30 from Taşucu Port.
- Following this schedule: Services will operate on October 13, 15, 17, and 19, then continue every other day.
Return Services from Kyrenia to Taşucu
- Until October 11: Daily departures at 11:00 from Kyrenia Port.
- Following this schedule: Services will operate on October 12, 14, 16, and 18, then continue every other day.
Planned Number of Services by Month
According to İDO's planning, the distribution of the total 49 services between September and November is as follows:
- Taşucu-Kyrenia direction: 3 services in September, 21 services in October.
- Kyrenia-Taşucu direction: 2 services in September, 22 services in October.
- In November: A total of 2 services, one departure and one return.
This plan aims to complete a total of 49 round-trip services.
Taşucu-Kyrenia Route Ticket Prices and Passenger Information
The new Taşucu-Kyrenia ferry route offers an important alternative, especially for those wishing to travel to Cyprus before the end of the tourism season, and for students and their families traveling between Turkey and Cyprus during the initial months of the academic year. Ticket prices have also been set:
- Full fare ticket: 2,509 TL
- Discounted ticket: 2,250 TL
- Round-trip ticket: 4,500 TL

Following its successful sea transportation operations in the Marmara and Aegean Seas, İDO is expanding its service network to the Mediterranean. This new route between Taşucu and Kyrenia will bring the company's experience, safety standards, and service philosophy in sea transportation to the Mediterranean. As stated by İDO General Manager Dr. Murat Orhan, this route was planned in response to high passenger demand. The Taşucu-Kyrenia route emerged as a result of this approach.
