Following the end of the winter schedule, Şehir Hatları is switching to its summer timetable starting June 29, 2026. The new schedule will remain in effect until September 6, 2026.
Providing maritime transport in Istanbul for 175 years, Şehir Hatları operates across 32 routes and carries approximately 40 million passengers annually. Ferry services will continue uninterrupted throughout the summer season. Under the new timetable, an average of 839 trips will be operated daily.
Night services will also continue during the summer. Daily night ferries will operate on the Bostancı-Adalar ring route, while Friday and Saturday night services will continue on the Kadıköy-Karaköy-Beşiktaş route.
The Princes' Islands (Adalar) routes will see extensive service during the summer season. Ferries will operate on the Tuzla-Pendik-Adalar route, as well as the Maltepe-Adalar, Kabataş-Adalar, Adalar-Beşiktaş, and Bostancı-Adalar ring routes, along with the Büyükada-Sedef Island route.
Moonlight Tours (Mehtap Turları), one of Şehir Hatları's traditional summer events, will also resume. Held every Saturday, these tours offer Istanbulites the chance to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Bosphorus under the moonlight. Featuring live performances by Ferry Musicians (Vapur Müzisyenleri), the tours will operate along the Bostancı-Kadıköy-Eminönü-Üsküdar-Beşiktaş-Rumeli Kavağı-Anadolu Kavağı route.
Bosphorus Tours, designed for those who want to discover Istanbul's historical and natural beauty from the sea, will continue throughout the summer. The Long Bosphorus Tour and Short Bosphorus Tour will run once daily, while the Short Bosphorus Tour will operate twice a day on public holidays.
Additionally, alongside scheduled ferry services, Sea Taxis will continue to meet the transportation needs of Istanbulites, operating 24/7.
The summer schedule booklet is available at all Şehir Hatları piers, on the website, via the mobile app, and through social media accounts.
