Attention Istanbulites: Istanbul ferry services have switched to the summer schedule!

The summer season for maritime transport in Istanbul began today. Under the new schedule, which will be in effect until September 6, an average of 839 daily ferry trips will be operated across 32 routes. Night services will continue, and capacity on the Princes' Islands (Adalar) routes will be increased. Bosphorus tours and Moonlight Tours (Mehtap Turları) will also welcome passengers once again.

The summer schedule for maritime transport in Istanbul is now in effect. As part of the new program prepared by Şehir Hatları, a subsidiary of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, an average of 839 daily ferry trips will be organized across 32 routes throughout the city until September 6, 2026. To accommodate the increased passenger volume during the summer season, the number of trips on certain routes has been increased, while night transportation will continue uninterrupted.

SUMMER SCHEDULE IN EFFECT UNTIL SEPTEMBER 6

Şehir Hatları's summer schedule was implemented on June 29. While scheduled ferry services continue under the summer timetable, tourist excursions and the highly demanded Princes' Islands (Adalar) trips will also be featured in the program throughout the season.

Officials stated that additional capacity has been created on certain routes due to the surge in passengers during the summer months, particularly on weekends.

NIGHT FERRY SERVICES TO CONTINUE THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER

With the new schedule, the night transportation service will also continue. Night services will operate as follows:

- Night ferry services will operate daily on the Bostancı-Princes' Islands (Adalar) ring route.

- Night services on the Kadıköy-Karaköy-Beşiktaş route will continue on Friday and Saturday nights.

This service is expected to provide significant convenience for passengers who prefer maritime transport, especially during the late-night hours.
